Rachel Sedacy is the visionary founder of The Fifth Element, where she expertly combines over ten years of strategic marketing and business analytics experience with a profound passion for sustainable development and cognitive behavioral psychology. A recognized leader in the development sector, Rachel's expertise is particularly strong in the energy sector, where she has significantly contributed to the development process of the Belize National Energy Policy and other key sustainability initiatives.
Prior to founding The Fifth Element, Rachel worked closely with the Energy Unit of the Ministry of Public Utilities, Energy, Logistics, and E-governance in Belize. Her efforts have been instrumental in capacity building, enhancing rural electrification, and advancing public awareness on sustainable energy practices. Notably, she spearheaded the first Women in Renewable Energy (WIRE) recognition awards in Belize, underscoring her commitment to empowering women in the energy sector.
Living in the Agua Viva Community near Belmopan, Rachel practices what she preaches by relying on solar electricity and a household scale biogas digester, demonstrating her personal commitment to sustainable living. This integration of personal and professional values stands at the core of her consultancy practice, driving her mission to merge cognitive psychology with business strategy to foster holistic, sustainable business growth.
Rachel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing with a specialization in Business Analytics and Consumer Psychology, and she is currently advancing her academic pursuit with a Master’s in Philosophy. As a Certified Cognitive Behavior Practitioner, Rachel brings a unique perspective to consulting, blending her business acumen with a deep understanding of psychological dynamics to offer innovative, effective solutions for her clients.
